International Day for the Conservation of Mangrove Ecosystem - 2025

On the occasion of the International Day for the Conservation of Mangrove Ecosystems, we are celebrating MANGROVE CONSERVATION WEEK with a series of Scientific events including Mangrove Plantation drive with public, school children, college students, forest officials, NGO, etc. from 23rd to 28th July, 2025, which is being organized by our EIACP PC-RP, Centre of Advanced Study in Marine Biology, Annamalai University, Parangipettai, Tamil Nadu, India.

On the occasion of the International Mangrove Day, we conducted awareness lecture on "Climate Change and Glaciers". Lecture have delivered by Prof. Dr. S.M. Sundarapandiyan, Head, Department of Ecology & Environment, Pondicherry (Central) University, Pondicherry.78 participants were participated.
